200 Best Tracks of 2010s (2010-2016)

This decade marks the shift of how people listen to their music. When in late 2000s, people are willing to download their favorite songs digitally one by one, they now don’t have time to do that anymore. Thanks to the ubiquitous streaming service, like Spotify or Tidal, people now prefer subscribing monthly to owning their favorite songs. This trend now has overtaken the song-downloading trend faster than people have predicted before. In terms of genre, this decade also sees the surge of 1980s influence: heavily synth-ed pop songs and uptempo song. It proves yet another point that trend is like an endless cycle. Yet, this decade is exciting, and as I reflected some of this decade’s best songs, I find it hard to choose 200 best songs amid hundred-thousands of songs that are released over the past seven years. There are just a lot of good songs out there!
